Lee Dae Hwi of AB6IX has lent his voice to the Korean dub of the live-action adaptation of 'How to Train Your Dragon,' taking on the lead role of Hiccup.

On May 20, AB6IX’s official Instagram account announced, “AB6IX’s Lee Dae Hwi participated in the Korean dubbing of the live-action version of 'How to Train Your Dragon' as Hiccup. We ask for lots of support and anticipation from ABNEW!”

Based on the bestselling book of the same name, 'How to Train Your Dragon' tells the story of Hiccup, a Viking boy who doesn’t fit the mold of his tribe. When he meets the mysterious and legendary dragon Toothless, the two form an unlikely friendship that challenges prejudice and changes their world.

The upcoming live-action film is directed by Dean DeBlois, the mastermind behind the original DreamWorks animated trilogy. The cast includes Mason Thames as Hiccup, Gerard Butler as Stoick the Vast, Nico Parker as Astrid Hofferson, and Nick Frost as Gobber the Belch.

Fans can look forward to seeing beloved dragons from the series brought to life, including Toothless, Hookfang, Barf & Belch, and Meatlug.

'The How to Train Your Dragon' animated trilogy has enjoyed great popularity in South Korea, with the first film drawing 2.59 million viewers, the second reaching 2.99 million, and the third attracting 1.5 million moviegoers.

According to the Korean Box Office Information System, as of 4 PM on May 20, the film holds a reservation rate of 6.2%, ranking fifth overall in advance bookings.

The live-action 'How to Train Your Dragon' is set for a global premiere on June 6.
