A faction of NJZ (NewJeans)' fandom has launched a truck protest outside HYBE’s headquarters, calling for reconciliation between the girl group and its agency ADOR.

On the morning of March 27, several members of NJZ (NewJeans)’ fanbase, known as Bunnies, parked trucks in front of HYBE’s building in Yongsan District, Seoul. The protest called for an end to the conflict and urged open dialogue between NJZ (NewJeans) and ADOR.

The trucks displayed messages such as:

“Stubborn parents / Children in court / Who is this lawsuit really for?”

“All 11 injunctions granted / What will you do in the main trial?”

“A fight you can't win / Astronomical penalties and damages / Wake up”

Bunnies respect NewJeans / But we can't let them walk down a dangerous path”

The protesting fans, who identified as a separate group from Team Bunnies, stated, “The main lawsuit, appeal, and Supreme Court process will take at least three years. If they lose, the five members will shoulder the penalties alone. All 11 injunctions were granted in favor of ADOR — this sets a bad precedent for the main case. We want to show the members there are other solutions.”

This protest stems from the legal battle between NJZ (NewJeans) and HYBE-ADOR. Although ADOR’s injunctions were fully upheld by the court, the NJZ (NewJeans) members have expressed intent to continue the main lawsuit, effectively blocking their ability to proceed with independent activities under the name NJZ (NewJeans). The group recently completed a performance at 'ComplexCon' in Hong Kong on March 23, after which they announced a suspension of activities, further fueling the controversy.

In recent international interviews, NJZ (NewJeans) members criticized the Korean K-pop industry, making headlines overseas. Meanwhile, Team Bunnies, another subset of the fandom, has publicly declared its support for NJZ (NewJeans)’ resistance to the court's decision and stated that they could no longer support HYBE or ADOR “even for a second.”

The situation has divided the Bunnies fandom. Disagreements over the group's legal actions and Team Bunnies’ stance have sparked backlash from other fans, culminating in the truck protest. Online communities remain deeply divided, and the debate surrounding NJZ (NewJeans) shows no signs of cooling down.
