Lisa becomes the first K-pop artist to perform at the Academy Awards

Lisa, a member of the girl group BLACKPINK, captivated the world with her stunning performance at the Academy Awards.

On March 2nd (local time), Lisa took the stage at the 97th Academy Awards, held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. 

She delivered a powerful rendition of Live and Let Die, the theme song from the 1973 James Bond film 007 Live and Let Die. Commanding the stage with her signature enchanting vocals, mesmerizing dance moves, and striking costumes, Lisa perfectly captured the song’s mysterious atmosphere, leaving the audience in awe.

Following her performance, American rapper Doja Cat performed Diamonds Are Forever, while British singer-songwriter RAYE delivered Skyfall, both iconic theme songs from the 007 series. The three artists later joined forces for a special performance celebrating the Governors Awards, which honored the executive producers of the 007 franchise.

Meanwhile, Lisa made history as the first K-pop artist to perform at the Academy Awards.

Hailing from Thailand, Lisa debuted as a member of the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK and quickly rose to global fame. Now, she continues to expand her influence worldwide.
