Actor Kim Soo Hyun's agency has announced plans to take legal action against Garosero Research Institute (Ga Se Yeon), refuting the claims made by the YouTube channel.
On the 10th, Gold Medalist, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, released an official statement saying, "The claims made by Garosero Research Institute regarding Kim Soo Hyun on YouTube today are completely false."
The statement continued, "They alleged that our company and Kim Soo Hyun colluded with YouTuber Lee Jin Ho to harass the late Kim Sae Ron, that Kim Soo Hyun had been dating the late Kim Sae Ron since she was 15, that our agency’s response to her drunk driving accident was unfair, and that our company’s manager had a close relationship with YouTuber Lee Jin Ho. These accusations, along with numerous other malicious claims against our company and Kim Soo Hyun, are entirely false, and we cannot overlook them.”
The agency further stated, "Our company will consider taking the strongest legal action possible against Garosero Research Institute for spreading false information."
Gold Medalist also expressed their sorrow over Kim Sae Ron’s passing, stating, "We are deeply heartbroken by the news of the late Kim Sae Ron’s death, as she was once part of our company, and we mourn her passing."
However, they strongly condemned Garosero Research Institute for spreading baseless rumors, calling it a "direct repetition of the so-called ‘cyber wrecker’ behavior that deeply affected the deceased while she was alive."
The agency emphasized that such false claims not only harm their company but also tarnish the deceased’s reputation for personal gain, and vowed to respond with strict legal measures.
Gold Medalist urged the public, "Please refrain from spreading, amplifying, or reproducing baseless false information," calling for an end to the dissemination of misleading claims.
