Daesung is set to make his long-awaited return to the music scene after nearly a year.

According to his agency, R&D Company (D-LABLE), Daesung will release his first mini album, ‘D’s WAVE’, on April 8th KST via various music platforms.

On March 17th KST, Daesung heightened excitement for his comeback by unveiling a teaser image on his official social media channels. The photo captures him surrounded by an array of stand microphones, drawing attention to his return as a vocalist. Clad in an all-black ensemble, he exudes a sleek and charismatic aura, further amplifying curiosity about his upcoming release.

Following the success of his 2023 single ‘Falling Slowly’, which showcased his signature emotive vocals, fans are eager to see what musical direction he will take with this new album.

Beyond music, Daesung has been actively expanding his presence across various platforms. His YouTube channel ‘Zip Daesung’ has solidified his status as an all-around entertainer, amassing over 1.13 million subscribers in under a year. His digital influence was further recognized when he won the ‘2025 Korea First Brand Award’ in the Male Entertainer YouTuber category.

Additionally, Daesung has remained closely connected with his fellow BIGBANG members, sparking excitement among fans.
