BTS’s J-Hope teams up with the Louvre Museum for ‘MONA LISA’ surprise collaboration

J-Hope of BTS stunned fans around the world with an unexpected collaboration with the Louvre Museum in Paris.
On March 25th (KST), the official social media account of the Louvre Museum shared a video featuring J-Hope. In the clip, he greeted fans and gave a brief introduction to his new single “MONA LISA”, adding, “She’s an inspiration.”
As J-Hope sang a portion of “MONA LISA,” the video transitioned to the iconic painting Mona Lisa (Gioconda, Monna Lisa) hanging inside the museum, creating a breathtaking moment between two global icons. Fans around the world reacted with excitement and amazement at the fusion of music and art history.
According to BIGHIT MUSIC, this collaboration began with a request from the Louvre Museum itself. After J-Hope’s “MONA LISA” concept photo was posted on BTS’s official social media on March 18th, the museum commented, “You mean our Mona Lisa?” and followed both J-Hope and BTS accounts, sparking buzz online. The museum later officially proposed a video collaboration, leading to the creation of this content.
Often ranked alongside the British Museum and Vatican Museums as one of the world’s top three museums, the Louvre Museum is the largest art museum in the world and a premier destination in Paris, attracting millions of visitors each year.
