Jin of BTS left fans and athletes alike in awe with his godly visuals and impressive athletic ability in the latest episode of his solo variety content, ‘Run BTS’.

On March 25th KST, the official BTS channels on YouTube and Weverse released “[Run BTS] EP.27 | Fencing Guys, featuring Jin training with fencing champions Oh Sang Wook and Gu Bon Gil.

Dressed in a sleek white fencing uniform and sporting jet-black hair, Jin’s striking appearance immediately stole the spotlight. Fans had long requested a fencing special, and Jin delivered by teaming up with Oh—Asia’s first fencing Grand Slam winner—and Gu, a three-time Olympic gold medalist from the London, Tokyo, and Paris Games.

Despite being a first-timer, Jin showcased remarkable reflexes and coordination. He even succeeded in spearing a falling apple with a fencing sword—a challenge even Oh Sang Wook couldn’t complete—on just his third attempt, earning applause from both athletes.

In a balloon-popping competition, Jin defeated Oh despite using a heavier senior fencing sword. When asked about Jin’s skills, Oh remarked, “He’s the best guest we’ve ever had. Seriously.” The caption cheekily read, “Number one in fencing and visuals.”

Jin then faced off against Choi Harang, Gu Bon Gil’s young prodigy and Korea’s fastest elementary fencer. Though Jin lost 15-11, he scored multiple impressive hits and even exchanged celebratory hugs with Oh during the match. The captions described his performance as “flawless as his face.”

After the friendly bout, Jin asked Choi how it felt to fence with him. The young athlete replied, “It felt really good,” to which Jin responded, “That makes me feel even better.”

Gu Bon Gil shared, “It was an honor to fence with Jin and Harang. I’m truly thankful.” Jin echoed the sentiment, saying, “It was an honor to film with two national representatives and to compete with the next gold medalist.”

The episode ended with Jin and Oh drawing a QR code for their “clock-out” mission, which revealed the words “Congratulations on clocking out”—wrapping the episode with laughs and cheers.

The fencing special not only reaffirmed Jin’s dazzling looks and athleticism but also drew explosive responses from fans, eager to see more of ‘Run BTS’.
