BTS member V, now serving as a sergeant, has earned the title of special warrior in the military and shared an update on his life in service.
On March 3rd, V posted a lengthy message on Weverse, giving fans a glimpse into his daily routine.
V wrote, "It snowed. I cleared the snow. I had a snowball fight. I'm good at snowball fights." He continued, "I've been promoted to 2nd class sergeant. I'm second in rank here now, but soon, I'll be first in the pecking order."
Revealing his recent achievement, he added, "I recently became a special warrior. I worked out hard. I pushed myself, and at one point, I even injured my ribs. But I’m back now."
V also mentioned his current fitness routine, saying, "I'm on a diet now. I weigh 70kg." He shared that he has been reading a lot, thanks to books gifted by a close acquaintance, though he humorously admitted, "She gave me too many. I can’t read them all."
He also touched on his improved sleep schedule, stating, "I don’t have insomnia here. As soon as I lie down, I pass out. But waking up in the morning is still difficult."
Expressing his love for fans and the stage, V confessed, "I miss ARMY a lot, so I watch a lot of concert videos. I want to dance. I want to sing." He also mentioned J-Hope and Park Hyung Sik, saying, "My junior asked me to check his ‘Black Swan’ choreography because he learned it all. But I don’t even remember it. I forgot." He continued, "Lately, I’ve been watching Treasure Island. Actor Park Hyung Sik is really cool. I also watched Jung Ho Seok's I Live Alone. I like him."
Finally, he expressed his sadness about missing BTS concerts, saying, "I'm sad that I couldn't go. It's a chance to see ARMY." He ended his post on a heartfelt note: "Anyway, I miss you! I love you!"
Meanwhile, V enlisted in December 2023 and is currently serving in the Military Police Special Task Force (SDT). He is expected to be discharged on June 10, 2025.
