Actor Jung Sung Il, known for his role in the Netflix hit series 'The Glory' is returning to the musical theater stage.
On February 12, XY Studio announced, "Jung Sung Il is returning to the stage following his performance in the musical 'Interview.' He will continue showcasing his versatility as a multi-talented performer."
He is set to star in the play 'The Capone Trilogy,' which is set in Room 661 of the Lexington Hotel in Chicago, the site of three murder cases.
The production follows an omnibus format, divided into three parts—"Rocky," "Lucifer," and "Vindici"—depicting the era when the notorious mafia boss Al Capone ruled the hotel.

Jung Sung Il will play "The Old Man," appearing as three different characters across the three segments. His dynamic stage presence and diverse transformation will captivate audiences.
Behind-the-scenes photos from the poster shoot were also revealed, featuring Jung Sung Il in a striped suit, striking various poses. The black-and-white aesthetic enhances the play’s intense atmosphere.
His agency shared, "Jung Sung Il, who has never hesitated to push boundaries on stage, is making a long-awaited return. We hope audiences look forward to his unique portrayal of 'The Old Man.'"
Meanwhile, The Capone Trilogy is set to premiere on March 11 at the Hongik University Daehakro Art Center’s small theater.
