Former Wonder Girls member Sunye opens new Instagram account after hacking incident.
Sunye, former member of Wonder Girls, revealed that she fell victim to an Instagram hacking incident and has since opened a new account.
On February 5th, Sunye announced the situation on her newly created Instagram account, stating, “My previous account was hacked, so I had to create a new one. To prevent further damage, I’m asking for help from my acquaintances,”tagging friends including Kahi, Jo Kwon, and Se7en.
She also shared a screenshot of an email from the hacker, which demanded money in exchange for returning control of her account.
Despite the unsettling experience, Sunye maintained a positive outlook, saying, “It’s frustrating, but I’m okay. A new year means a fresh start.”
Meanwhile, Sunye married a Korean-Canadian missionary in 2013 and officially left Wonder Girls in 2015, stepping away from the entertainment industry. She is now a mother of three daughters and focuses on her family life.
