According to an exclusive report from Xports News on August 14, Kyung Soo Jin has found a new home at uhoostudio following her departure from YG Entertainment earlier this month. YG announced on August 1 that it would be winding down its actor management business, which made Kyung one of the most sought-after free agents in the industry. After careful consideration, she decided to join uhoostudio.
uhoostudio was recently established by CEO Yoo Eun Sook, the head of STUDIO plum. Several actors previously under STUDIO plum including Kim Dong Wook, Kang So Ra, Lee Jae Won, Kim Hyun Sook, Yoon Ji Min, Kwon Hae Sung and Choi Chan Ho have already signed exclusive contracts with the new company.
Kyung Soo Jin made her debut in 2012 with the drama 'Man from the Equator' and has since appeared in a range of TV dramas including 'Don’t Look Back: The Legend of Orpheus,' 'Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo,' 'Meloholic,' 'Train,' 'Mouse' and 'Shadow Detective.' On the big screen, she has starred in films such as 'The King’s Case Note,' 'The Noisy Mansion' and 'Holy Night: Demon Hunters.' She has also showcased her personality and charm in variety programs, most notably 'I Live Alone.'
Most recently, Kyung made a special appearance in 'Oh My Ghost Clients' and reminded audiences of her versatile presence on screen. With her move to uhoostudio, she is expected to pursue even more active and diverse projects, and anticipation is high for her next chapter.
