Choi Woo Shik expresses that his life of late has been “gray” and empty

Actor Choi Woo Shik was featured in the latest episode of actor Moon Sang Hoon’s YouTube talk show, reflecting on his life. 

On the topic of hobbies, Choi Woo Shik expresses frustration. In previous interviews, he had expressed his love for fishing, cycling, swimming, and camping, and adds on that he has loved outdoor activities since he was a kid. But he states that recently, his downtime does not involve such activities, and that it has even become stressful to think about hobbies because he had been forcing himself to find a hobby. He alludes to the color gray to describe his life of late, admitting that he feels quite empty.

However, Choi Woo Shik also sees the good in feeling like a blank slate in his downtime, as he feels like it allows him to immerse in his roles and take on the respective vibrancy required. He also mentions that he tends to not cut his hair when he is not filming for dramas or films, as he never knows what kind of image he will have to take on if he gets a new role.

Alongside Park Bo Young, Choi Woo Shik’s romantic comedy film ‘Melo Movie’ is slated to premiere on Netflix on February 14, Valentine’s Day.
