Netflix announced on January 22 that the reality dating show 'Single’s Inferno 4' has made an impressive debut, ranking number 6 in the global Top 10 TV (Non-English) category.
'Single’s Inferno 4' immediately entered Netflix’s global Top 10 upon release, marking a fiery start to 2025. The show, featuring bold and straightforward singles, has captivated viewers worldwide.
Set on a remote island called "Inferno," where contestants can only leave as couples, 'Single’s Inferno 4' has garnered overwhelming reactions from audiences. According to the Netflix Top 10 website, the show recorded 4.8 million views (calculated by dividing total viewing hours by the show’s runtime) and 23.1 million viewing hours between January 13 and 19. This marks the highest first-week viewing hours for a 'Single’s Inferno' series.
In addition to ranking No. 6 globally in the Top 10 TV (Non-English) category, the show appeared in the Top 10 lists of 23 countries, including South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Canada, and Brazil, further cementing Netflix’s dominance in the reality show genre this year.
From its premiere, 'Single’s Inferno 4' has captivated global viewers with its fast-paced development, emotional rollercoasters, and the unfiltered honesty of its contestants. Within two weeks of release, the show has dominated online forums, generating widespread buzz.
The production team, led by directors Kim Jae Won, Kim Jung Hyun, and Park Soo Ji, showcased bold and innovative direction. Drawing on their expertise, they skillfully captured the raw and daring emotions of the contestants.
The production team explained, “We aimed to create an environment where the contestants, isolated from their daily lives, could fully immerse themselves in the emotions of ‘love.’ We wanted to provide a new sense of tension and unpredictable fun."

The revamped dynamics of "Paradise" and "Inferno," combined with the upgraded emotional depth and flirty interactions of the contestants, have added fresh excitement to the series. Enhanced physical games also highlighted the tangled emotions of the singles, amplifying their charm.
Episodes 7 and 8 of Single’s Inferno 4 will be released worldwide on Netflix on January 28.
