Netizens appalled by a sasaeng fan pretending to be security for an idol at the airport

Korean netizens were horrified by the disconcerting actions of a sasaeng fan, who allegedly pretended to be an idol's security guard at the airport. 

On January 2 KST, the project group Close Your Eyes appeared at Incheon International Airport on their way to Fukuoka, Japan, for the '39th Golden Disc Awards', being held from January 4-5.

On this day, Close Your Eyes member Ma Jing Xiang, who finished 1st place on the JTBC boy group survival program 'Project 7' to secure his spot in the group, was seen accompanied by a woman in a black jacket and a black mask on his way to the gate. 

The woman's actions seemed to indicate that she was part of the security staff escorting the members of Close Your Eyes, keeping other fans and their probing cameras away from Ma Jing Xiang. 

However, later on, some fans on SNS claimed that the woman captured next to Ma Jing Xiang was not security, but a sasaeng fan. 

Many netizens were appalled by the claims, commenting,

"She's not staff? Then that's scary."

"That's disgusting. Why is the real security not keeping her away?"

"She's acting like security so she can touch him up ew."

"If that's really true, then that is totally unsafe."

"Sadly, this isn't the first time I've seen sasaengs acting like staff."

"What is the actual security doing like WTH."

"This isn't funny, it's just creepy."

"If you watch it from a different angle, she's got her arm around him. It's seriously scary."
