On the evening of December 5 KST, ONE HUNDRED released an official statement to confirm that it has reached a settlement with IST Entertainment over the use of the trademarked group name, The Boyz.
According to ONE HUNDRED, "ONE HUNDRED and IST Entertainment have come to a mutual agreement regarding the use of the trademark 'The Boyz' as well as the three conditions suggested by IST in exchange for the trademark usage."
The label added on, "After working out the differences between the two sides and carrying out open dialogue, ONE HUNDRED and IST have agreed to a settlement which prioritizes the happiness of The Boyz and The Bs. We would like to thank IST for being open to the negotiations."
Finally, ONE HUNDRED promised to support The Boyz in their activities to the fullest so that the group would continue to show their talents and growth.
With the trademark usage issue resolved, The Boyz will now continue their group promotions with their debut name under ONE HUNDRED.
