Actress Jeon So Min is set to return to 'Running Man' as a guest, a year after stepping down as a regular cast member.
On December 30th, an SBS representative confirmed to DongA.com that Jeon So Min recently participated in the filming of 'Running Man.' Joining her as guests were actor Choi Daniel, who stars alongside her in the drama 'Sorry Not Sorry,' as well as weightlifter Park Hye Jung and judoka Kim Ha Yoon. The episode featuring their appearances is scheduled to air in January.
Jeon So Min first joined 'Running Man' as a fixed member in April 2017 and won viewers' hearts with her quirky and bold character. However, in November last year, she announced her departure, stating, "I have decided to take time to recharge so that I can show a better side of myself in future activities, including acting." Her final episode, themed 'Jeon So Min’s Perspective – Goodbye So Min Race,' marked her farewell after six years on the show.
Since leaving 'Running Man,' Jeon So Min has continued her acting career with dramas like 'Gwaeri and Naengso' and 'Sorry Not Sorry,' and has completed filming the romantic thriller film 'Veranda.' In July, she signed with Studio Santa Claus Entertainment, signaling a fresh start in her career.
Recently, in a YouTube video on Ji Suk Jin's channel, Jeon So Min opened up about her life after leaving 'Running Man,' sharing, "Without any scheduled activities, I couldn’t see what lay ahead. Even moving houses felt like a stretch." She also revealed that she had been working part-time at a friend’s café during this period.
