On November 29th, the second episode of 'Universe League' of SBS showed the contestants' strong desire to debut. 21 contestants who were at risk of being eliminated had a chance to prove themselves in a 'Bench test' in the end, all 21 players managed to become bench players.
After that, the first round of the league mission began. The regular players and bench players competed against each other. The teams were tasked with performing songs chosen by their respective team directors. A 'yellow card' was on the line for the losing teams, which would result in the elimination of one bench player.
Team Rhythm performed "Give Me That" by WayV. JL and Park Ju Won from Team Rhythm did well, with Park Ju Won being named MVP. Team Beat had problems with teamwork, and their performance was not great. Cha Woong Ki, however, was named MVP for his efforts.
Team Groove performed "Missing You" by BTOB. Jang Kyung Ho struggled with his vocals, but Seo Jeong Woo performed well and was named MVP.
At the end of the first round, Team Rhythm was in first place with 1,234 points, Team Groove had 1,172 points, and Team Beat had 996 points. The final results of first round could change in the next episode.
The show ‘Universe League’ is a survival competition where contestants compete to become part of a new global idol group. The third episode will air on December 6th at 11:20 PM (KST)
