Former BIGBANG member T.O.P (Choi Seung Hyun) hinted at his return to the music industry in 2025. On the 29th, T.O.P responded to an overseas fan's question about his solo track "DOOM DADA 2.0" by saying, "2025." "DOOM DADA" was released in 2013 and received positive reviews.
However, he did not respond to comments asking for a BIGBANG reunion, raising questions about whether he will return as a solo artist. T.O.P also sparked interest last year when he posted, "Still making my albums."
In 2016, T.O.P was sentenced to a suspended prison sentence for marijuana use and completed his mandatory military service as a social service worker after being deemed "unsuitable" for re-enlistment.
Although he initially announced his retirement, he later returned to acting, appearing in Netflix’s Squid Game 2, which will be released on December 26. Recently, BIGBANG (G-Dragon, Taeyang, Daesung) performed a full group stage at the 2024 MAMA Awards to great reception.
