Former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin shows quiet support for NewJeans members.

On November 29th KST, former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin posted a music track on her Instagram story without any additional comments.

The song she shared was The Beatles’ ‘Free As A Bird.’ The title, which translates to “fly like a bird,” is interpreted as a show of support for the NewJeans members, who announced the termination of their exclusive contract with ADOR the previous evening.

The day before, on November 28th, NewJeans members held an emergency press conference to notify the termination of their exclusive contract with ADOR.

Following this, Minji changed her profile picture on the fan communication platform Phoning to an image from the Japanese anime Inuyasha, featuring a character saying, “Goodbye, everyone,” while ascending to the sky—commonly referred to as a “resignation meme.” Hanni also updated her profile message to read, “See you on the other side,” garnering attention.
