G-Dragon shares backstory behind meeting Jo Se Ho at Chanel fashion show.
On October 30th KST, tvN’s 'You Quiz on the Block' released a preview clip ahead of its latest episode, where singer G-Dragon appears as a guest. In the clip, G-Dragon recounts the memorable moment he unexpectedly encountered Jo Se Ho at the Chanel fashion show in Paris.
Recalling the event, G-Dragon explained, “At official events, I try to keep a strong presence and stay focused.” Back in 2017, G-Dragon attended Chanel’s fashion show in Paris, where he noticed Jo Se Ho among the crowd. Cameras captured his surprised yet delighted reaction, and the moment quickly went viral. Jo Se Ho had previously shared his own take on the encounter, mentioning that locals asked, “Who are you, that G-Dragon would greet you?”
Yoo Jae Suk added humor, saying, “I heard everyone around you was surprised!” Jo Se Ho responded, “Yes, the foreign guests were asking, ‘Who are you?’”
G-Dragon then gave his own perspective for the first time, reenacting the moment with a smile. “It was early, practically as soon as the doors opened, and I just heard, ‘Jiyong, Jiyong!’” His lively recount brought laughter to the set.
