EXO member and solo artist Chen released his heartfelt digital single 'Beyond:' on October 1st.
The single 'Beyond:' includes two emotional ballads: Love You and Shining Brighter than the Stars. While his mini 4th album 'DOOR,' released in May, was an invitation for fans into Chen’s musical world, this digital single expresses his gratitude toward the fans who have entered that world. The title 'Beyond:' signifies Chen’s intention to continue filling the space beyond the door together with his fans, with the colon (:) in the title symbolizing this connection.
The album artwork visualizes the concept of “a space Chen shares with his fans” as a universe, illustrated in black and white to evoke depth and anticipation for the release.
The title track "Love You" is a pop ballad featuring dreamy piano and pop sounds, delivering a sensuous message that Chen wants to convey to his fans through the lyrics, filled with rich emotions.
The second track, "Brighter than the Stars," is a medium-tempo ballad that expresses how a loved one shines brighter than any stars. The song’s lyrical melody, paired with Chen’s vocals, enhances the track’s charm and emotional impact.
After the release of 'Beyond:,' Chen will embark on his fan concert tour 'Beyond the DOOR,' starting in Taipei, Taiwan, on October 25th, followed by Bangkok, Thailand, on November 2nd, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on November 8th, and Manila, Philippines, on November 23rd.
