BTS member Jungkook gained attention today for his recent social media posts, which were perceived as showing support for NewJeans. The first post was a photo of Jungkook’s dog Bam along with a caption reading: “Artists are not guilty,” followed by five heart emojis and a flexed bicep emoji. Jungkook also made another post with the caption “Don’t use them.” His support for NewJeans comes in the midst of the HYBE-ADOR conflict, as NewJeans has recently come under fire for their livestream supporting Min Hee Jin.
Jungkook’s label, Big Hit Music, quickly clarified the intentions of Jungkook’s recent posts, stating: “We have confirmed this was posted with the belief that, under no circumstances, should young artists be dragged into disputes and used as a shield.”
