Red Velvet's Wendy has returned as the DJ for 'Young Street'.
Wendy, who hosted SBS Power FM's 'Young Street' from July 2021 to July 2023, made her comeback as a DJ after approximately one year on August 19 KST. She filled Monday evening with her signature positive and cheerful energy and excellent hosting skills, announcing the successful return of "WanD" (Wendy's DJ nickname) and spreading a happy virus.
At the start of the broadcast, Wendy received numerous welcome messages from listeners. She shared her thoughts, saying, "It feels like a dream to be back on Young Street. More than anything, I really missed communicating with the listeners. I will do my best to be 'WanD' who can provide good energy by your side for a long, long time," expressing her unwavering affection for radio.
Since it was her first broadcast after returning, the day was organized as a special "Wendy Day." Throughout the show, Wendy carefully read each story from listeners and continued sincere communication by spontaneously singing g.o.d's "One Candle," a song she especially wanted to share with them. Towards the end of the broadcast, her fellow Red Velvet members made a surprise appearance with congratulatory messages for "WanD's" comeback, adding to the warm atmosphere.
Meanwhile, SBS Power FM's Wendy's Young Street, hosted by Wendy, airs every day at 8 PM.
