Highlight member Kikwang is set to surprise fans with two self-composed songs ahead of his upcoming solo concert.
On August 14 at 6 PM KST, Kikwang will release his new digital single "REASON" on various online music platforms.
"REASON" marks Kikwang's first release in 1 year and 4 months since his full-length album "PREDATOR" dropped last April. The new single, featuring two previously unreleased tracks written and composed by Kikwang himself, is a special gift to fans ahead of his solo concert "OBSESSED," set for August 17 and 18.
The first track, "Reason," features an easy-to-sing melody and upbeat rhythm, delivering a sense of comfort while reflecting on the regrets and rediscoveries in a long-term relationship. The second track, "Regret," is a ballad that showcases Kikwang’s velvety vocals in a new light, as he expresses sorrow and a sense of loss towards a relationship that has completely ended.
Kikwang will debut live performances of "Reason" and "Regret" at "OBSESSED," his first solo concert in five years, which sold out quickly and had to open additional restricted-view seats due to overwhelming demand. Fans can expect an impressive live performance spanning various genres.
Kikwang’s new digital single "REASON" will be released today, August 14 at 6 PM KST. His solo concert "OBSESSED" will take place at the Olympic Hall in Seoul Olympic Park on August 17 at 6 PM and August 18 at 5 PM.
