Netizens are calling for Seunghan's departure from RIIZE.

Seunghan has been on a hiatus from group activities since November of 2023 following controversies involving his personal life. On July 3, a post about the RIIZE member titled "Idol Who's Stopped Promoting for 8 Months Because of Issues" went viral on an online community. The post states that SM Entertainment should make a decision about whether Seunghan is staying with RIIZE or leaving, stating, "It's time SM Entertainment releases an official statement on whether he's coming back or not."

Many netizens called for Seunghan's leave from the group, leaving comments expressing he should be cut from RIIZE. Netizens commented, "Announce his withdrawal. When he was promoting, he hurt his group because of his controversies, and he hurts the group whenever his hiatus is brought up," "Don't ever come back," "Please announce something," "Didn't he get kicked out already," "Make an announcement," "RIIZE is doing so well without him," and more.

In other news, Seunghan was rumored to be taking the college entrance exam this past April.
