Nam Yoon Soo puts career on hold to donate kidney to his father

Actor Nam Yoon-soo has donated a kidney to his father, showcasing his deep familial love and commitment. 

According to a report by SpoTV News on the 16th, Nam Yoon-soo underwent a kidney transplant surgery for his father on June 19. Both Nam Yoon-soo, the donor, and his father, the recipient, have recovered swiftly and have been discharged from the hospital.

In preparation for the surgery, Nam Yoon-soo halted all his activities earlier this year, focusing entirely on the kidney donation process. This decision has touched many, highlighting his dedication and selflessness.

The hospital staff praised Nam Yoon-soo for his positive demeanor and deep care for his family, which contributed to the successful outcome. They expressed their hope for Nam Yoon-soo to continue being a positive influence and a prominent figure in society.

Nam Yoon-soo is set to return to the screen as the lead character Go Young in the drama "Love Laws of the Big City," which will be released on an OTT platform in the second half of 2024.
