The new unit from the group SEVENTEEN, Jeonghan X Wonwoo, will debut this June.
Pledis Entertainment, their agency, released the concept teaser video for Jeonghan X Wonwoo's first single album 'JEONGHAN X WONWOO (SEVENTEEN) 1ST SINGLE ALBUM 'THIS MAN' - The City.' According to the teaser, Jeonghan X Wonwoo will release their first single album 'THIS MAN' on June 17.
The video captures the night in the city. With a sudden lightning strike, the city experiences a blackout, followed by the appearance of the album name and release date, raising anticipation.
Since their debut, SEVENTEEN has showcased various units through their albums and stages, including the Hip-Hop Team, Performance Team, and Vocal Team. Hip-Hop Team members Wonwoo and Mingyu released the digital single ‘Bittersweet (Feat. Lee Hi)’ in May 2021, which topped the iTunes song charts in nine countries/regions worldwide.
The special unit BSS (Seungkwan, DK, Hoshi) made headlines by winning eight music show awards with their first single album's title track ‘Fighting (Feat. Lee Young-ji),’ released last February.
The musical collaboration between Jeonghan and Wonwoo, which has never been revealed before, is drawing significant attention from CARATs (the fandom name) worldwide.
Jeonghan X Wonwoo's first single album 'THIS MAN' is available for pre-order starting today (20th) from 11 AM through various music sales sites.
