Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, has achieved a new record on iTunes.
Taehyung's latest solo track, "FRI(END)S", has now reached #1 on iTunes in 100 countries. It is the first song released in 2024 to achieve this milestone.
"FRI(END)S" is also Taehyung's 5th song as a soloist to achieve 100 #1's on iTunes, following "Sweet Night," "Christmas Tree," "Slow Dancing," and "wherever u r."
Released in March 2024, "FRI(END)S" is a pop soul R&B track that expresses the desire to "put the 'end' in friends" and elevate a longstanding friendship to a deeper level, as cleverly hinted by the title's wordplay.
