On May 6, BLACKPINK's JENNIE became the First Kpop and Korean Artist to be personally invited by Anna Wintour as part of the VIP guest list of the 2024 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
During this charity fashion gala that attracts important celebrities from around the world, Jennie dazzled with her impressive look made up of a cobalt blue dress from the Alaia brand. In fact, the dress was inspired by the looks presented at the Fall/Summer 2024 show and the ensemble took over 200 hours to make with a single thread of Merino wool.
With this dress, Jennie was selected as the Best Dressed Celebrity at the Met Gala 2024 by Billboard, Rolling Stone, MTV, WWD, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and many international fashion magazines.
