Netizens impressed with the diverse facial expressions made by the virtual boy group PLAVE on live broadcasts

PLAVE has been steadily gaining popularity and recognition as a virtual boy group consisting of five members - Yejun, Noah, Bamby, Eunho, and Hamin.

Making their official debut in 2023, PLAVE has caught the attention of many being the first virtual K-pop boy group.  'ASTERUM: The Shape of Things to Come,' PLAVE's 1st mini-album, amassed over 199,000 copies in sales within its first week and began receiving recognition for their music.

The group continued to grow in success as they broke their personal record with the second mini-album, 'ASTERUM: 134-1' with over 500,000 pre-orders even before the official release. 

Not only did fans and netizens favor the group's music, but many netizens also took notice of the virtual idol avatars being much more natural compared to the pre-existing virtual artists.

Recently, fans and netizens gathered in a popular online community to praise the diverse facial expressions the PLAVE members have displayed so far. Many were not only impressed with the natural movements of the avatars but also the dynamic facial expressions depicted by each member.

One fan explained, "I think they're wearing a headgear equipped with a face cam when they do live broadcasts. They have really dynamic and expressive facial expressions."
