'ETA' becomes NewJeans' eighth song to surpass 200 million streams on Spotify

NewJeans' "ETA" has surpassed 200 million streams on Spotify.

According to Spotify on March 31 KST, "ETA," one of the triple title tracks from NewJeans' second EP 'Get Up,' has accumulated over 219,478,000 streams as of March 29, thus becoming NewJeans' eighth song to reach over 200 million streams.

Since its release in July of last year, "ETA" and "Super Shy," another title track from the EP, have swept the top two spots on major Korean music charts. "ETA" has also gained significant popularity in international markets, even entering the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Meanwhile, NewJeans is scheduled to be making a comeback on May 24.

For me, this name of the song only reminds me of the name of a terrorist group responsible for the death of many people. I feel weird every time I see the title of their song.
