In the latest development, Park Soo Hong's elder brother has been handed a two-year prison sentence for his involvement in an embezzlement scandal related to Park Soo Hong's appearance fees. The verdict was delivered by the Seoul Western District Court's Criminal Agreement Division 11, led by Chief Judge Bae Seong Joong.

During the trial, the prosecution had sought a seven-year prison term for Park Soo Hong's brother and three years for his sister-in-law. The prosecution emphasized the seriousness of the crime and the lack of remorse, stating that the couple had attempted to conceal the embezzlement for an extended period, resulting in significant damage to Park Soo Hong's reputation and financial loss.

The case revolves around allegations that Park Soo Hong's brother and his spouse embezzled approximately 6.2 billion won, including earnings from Park Soo Hong's appearances, over a decade while managing two entertainment agencies from 2011 to 2021. Park Soo Hong initiated legal action against them in 2022, leading to a series of ten trials.

Despite Park Soo Hong's desire for strict punishment for his brother, his parents, as revealed on SBS's 'My Little Old Boy', have criticized Park Soo Hong and his wife, Kim Da Ye, and have portrayed a narrative of family conflict.
