Actresses Jeon Do Yeon and Kim Ji Won are considering roles starring in the upcoming drama 'The Price of Confession' in place of Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee.

On January 9, Kim Ji Won's agency, High Zium Studio, stated, "The actress is under consideration for the drama 'The Price of Confession'."

'The Price of Confession' is a work depicting the bloody chronicles surrounding a murder case involving two women. The core plot revolves around the unforeseen connection between the two women, who had no prior relationship, as they meet in prison, leading to uncertain outcomes of whether it will be the best or worst for each other.

Although 'Descendants of the Sun' director, Lee Eung Bok, initially helmed the project, director Lee Jung Hyo was brought in as a replacement during the reevaluation process.

The anticipated casting of Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee had captured considerable attention, with plans for their participation. Unfortunately, production faced a setback, leading to a temporary halt in the year's first half.

On a positive note, the project has sparked renewed interest, with renowned actress Jeon Do Yeon contemplating the lead role after receiving the offer, as revealed by her agency, Management Soop.
