EXO's 'The First Snow' has topped all the real-time Korean charts, securing its first RAK

Currently, "First Snow," a track from EXO's 2013 winter album "Miracle in December," is gaining popularity and making history even after a decade. This emotional song beautifully captures the nostalgic emotions of a past love. With its comforting melodies and heartfelt vocals, the track vividly depicts the longing felt on a snowy day, as the gentle snowflakes elegantly fall from the sky.

Typically, the song reappears on the Korean music charts when the first snow falls. However, this year it gained even more popularity due to a viral challenge. The challenge was created by Hwang Sehun and was embraced by a wide range of people, including K-pop idols, dancers, fans, and even international artists.

On December 19, EXO's song "The First Snow" achieved the top position on Melon's Top 100 chart. This accomplishment places EXO alongside SEVENTEEN's "God of Music" as the sole boy groups to reach #1 on MelOn's TOP100 in 2023. Furthermore, EXO made history by becoming the only boy group to reach #1 on MelOn 24Hits and Daily Chart in 2023.

On December 21 at 2 PM KST, the iconic song made history by achieving its first Realtime All Kill (RAK). It secured the top spot on Melon, Bugs, Genie, and FLO, further solidifying its legendary status. This remarkable accomplishment also establishes EXO as the sole Korean boy group to attain a Real-Time All Kill in 2023. And this is Exo's 8th time to achieve a Real-Time All Kill.

It is worth mentioning that "First Snow" became number 1 on the iTunes charts of 20 countries and has already reached #1 on Hanteo's Real-Time Digital Streaming Chart.
