According to the latest charts released by YouTube for the week of November 24 to November 30, the group's debut "BATTER UP" has not only secured the top position on the global weekly popular songs chart but also dominated the weekly popular music video chart for five consecutive days, firmly establishing their reign as the number one music video globally.
The success of 'BATTER UP' extends beyond the borders of South Korea, resonating with audiences in mainstream pop markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and more. Considering YouTube's role as a pivotal platform in the global music industry, BABYMONSTER's achievement becomes even more significant, especially given that they are a newly debuted girl group.
The music video, unveiled on the stroke of midnight on November 27, quickly soared to become the "Most Viewed Video in 24 Hours." Within just one day of its release, the music video set a new debut record for K-pop groups with an impressive 22.59 million views, and subsequently surpassed 50 million views in approximately four days. Currently, the view count has surpassed 62.22 million. The group's official YouTube channel has also seen a substantial increase in subscribers, gaining nearly 440,000 subscribers since the video's release and amassing over 3.71 million subscribers in total.
