RM recently shared news of an injury he sustained while filming. On the 14th, RM engaged in a live broadcast session on the fan community platform Weverse.
During the live broadcast, he surprised fans as he appeared with medical tape near his eye. RM proceeded to provide an explanation, saying, "I had to receive five stitches. It happened while I was filming, and the camera got too close, resulting in it rubbing against my eye and causing the injury. I had to halt the filming and immediately seek medical attention, where I received the stitches. Thankfully, it's all healed now."
Additionally, he expressed, "Although there is some bruising, it appears that there might be a scar," indicating that there was some bleeding, and the injury could potentially leave a lasting mark.
RM made his debut as a member of BTS in 2013, and the group has achieved global acclaim with chart-topping hits such as 'Dynamite,' 'Boy with Luv,' 'Spring Day,' 'Butter,' 'Fake Love,' and 'DNA.' At present, BTS members are fulfilling their mandatory military service obligations in a sequential manner.
