Journalist turned YouTuber Jin-ho Lee uncovered that G-Dragon became aware of these drug allegations through media reports, similar to the general public. This revelation has stirred considerable frustration for the artist, especially since he claimed to have had no prior communication with the authorities regarding the matter. "I have never been contacted by the police," G-Dragon emphasized.

In response to the ongoing situation, a police official provided insights into the current stage of the investigation. The official stated, “We are contemplating the need to summon G-Dragon after a comprehensive inquiry." They further clarified that, "As of now, none of the individuals associated with this case have been officially charged."
