On August 15 KST, Girls' Generation's Seohyun shared a series of photos on her personal social media account to honor this significant day in the nation’s history.

The photos showcase the actress paying her respects at the Dosan Ahn Chang Ho Memorial Hall. Notably, Dosan Ahn Chang Ho was a seminal activist in the Korean independence movement.

Expressing her deep gratitude, Seohyun said, “Thank you for protecting our country. Long live the independence of Korea.” Her comments were made in commemoration of the 78th anniversary of the country's liberation.

In other news, it has been confirmed that on September 22, the Netflix drama 'Song of the Bandits', starring Seohyun and actor Kim Nam Gil, will be launched. 'Song of the Bandits' is a riveting action drama that tells the story of Korean citizens moving toward Gando during the Japanese colonial era to protect their motherland.
