According to media outlet reports on June 28 KST, SF9 member/actor Rowoon has been offered a male lead role in the historical drama 'Muddy Waters' (literal translation).
The drama is a highly-anticipated new historical series scripted by Chun Sung Il, the mastermind behind the legendary series 'The Slave Hunters' (2010) starring Jang Hyuk. Director Choo Chang Min of 'Masquerade' (2012) is expected to oversee the its production.
Little is known about the new series so far, other than that it will be a classic Korean historical drama portraying the culture and the social customs of the Joseon era in close detail. The story follows the epic journey of a man who starts out from nothing, and becomes a legend.
Meanwhile, Rowoon is set to greet viewers on the small-screen soon in JTBC's 'Destined With You', premiering some time in August.
