On June 19 KST, one exclusive media outlet reported that Red Velvet's Wendy has been cast for the 10th anniversary of the musical 'Rebecca', which will have its opening show in August. Wendy will reportedly be playing the role of "I", drawing attention. "I" is a character who grows from a soft-hearted and pure woman to a strong and firm woman.

Wendy first debuted with Red Velvet back in 2014, and this will be Wendy's first time starring in a musical, garnering attention. Many look forward to the new charms Wendy will be showing on the musical stage, as opposed to her previous diverse roles as a radio DJ, MC, solo releases for drama soundtracks, animation dubbing, and more.
