SM Entertainment will be launching NCT's brand new unit very soon with a pre-debut reality titled 'NCT Universe : LASTART'.
Premiering next month on July 27, 'NCT Universe : LASTART' will be an audition project, selecting the members who will debut in NCT's final unit. BoA and Super Junior's Eunhyuk will appear as training directors/judges, with more SM Entertainment sunbae artists making appearances each week.
The pre-debut reality show will also feature a step-by-step process of the new unit's debut, including the member selection process, training, and the final preparations for debut.
Meanwhile, 'NCT Universe : LASTART' will be broadcast simultaneously in Korea, Japan, and the Americas. Fans in Japan can tune in via Hulu and Nippon TV, fans in North American can tune in via KOCOWA+, and fans in Korea can tune in via ENA and TVING.

This isnt a new NCT U. This will be another fixed subgroup focused on Japan promotions. But its so confusing. People are saying the 2 new SM rookies just revealed were for NCT Tokyo, but this show is saying it will determine the final lineup. I also dont get why SM removed Sungchan and Shotaro from NCT and put them in the new boy group when they joined NCT almost 3 years ago. Im guessing they're trying to save the popular members for the nbg and will treat NCT tokyo like shit. SM 3.0 is a mess.
