Battle Islands recently announced that AleXa has been cast in the new American animated series 'Ghosts of Ruin,' joining a star-studded cast including Justin Long and Michael Longfellow.
The dystopian sci-fi series is set to debut this fall via Gala Film, the film and television division of leading content and technology innovator Gala.
In the series, AleXa will be the voice of Juggernaut, an irreverent and extremely hyper pro-gamer and content creator.
'Ghosts of Ruin' is a gritty dystopian animated series that explores gaming through a world of advanced tech that allows players to feel their games. In the series, gamers come together to compete in a neural reality battle royale tournament called Ruin, but a rogue program emerges to turn their paradise into a living nightmare.
Meanwhile, AleXa just came back with her newest ballad single "Juliet."

This sounded kind of odd, particularly the "Gala Film" part, so I googled it and this is some kind of "Web3" project, for better or worse. Rosario Dawson is attached too, so the project must have some real money behind it... whatever it is. Still, happy to see AleXa doing something different.
