Former bugAboo member Rainie has joined PRIMROSE as a new member of the group.
On May 16 KST, her agency AO Entertainment announced, "We have signed an exclusive contract with Rainie," and "Ranie will join as a member of PRIMROSE."
Rainie, a Taiwanese national, debuted as a part of bugAboo in 2021 and met global fans before the group's disbandment in 2022.
PRIMROSE debuted as a two-member system with members Ruby and Yeum, but Yeum withdrew due to health reasons, and the agency said, "After choosing the members, we plan to introduce a new Primrose."
With Nahyun, a former member of the girl group HOT ISSUE, recently joining as a member of PRIMROSE, the news that Rainie has joined the group is raising expectations as to what kind of new group PRIMROSE will become.

Their performances as a duo felt a bit lacking in my opinion, so I'm really excited and curious about how they'll pull it off as a trio now seeing how 2 of the 3 current members are a bit more experienced than Ruby. Maybe even more members might be coming in?
