Super Junior's Heechul has been appointed as an ambassador for school bullying prevention and recovery by The Blue Tree Foundation, a non-governmental organization dedicated to numerous educational campaigns for the prevention of school bullying and violence in the classroom.
Previously in February of this year, Heechul made a donation of 100,000,000 KRW (~ $75,000 USD) to The Blue Tree Foundation and expressed his interest in raising awareness toward effective ways of preventing school bullying. Sunbae artist Sung Si Kyung, known for being a good friend of Heechul's, was also active as an ambassador for the NGO for many years.
As ambassador, Heechul will take part in various campaigns, including school bullying prevention, recovery after suffering bullying, social change toward non-violence, etc.
