According to industry insiders on April 5 KST, GOT7 member/actor Park Jinyoung (30) will begin his mandatory military service next month.
Jinyoung will be enlisting as an active duty soldier on May 8. In fact, the GOT7 member let fans know some time at the end of last year that he would be preparing for his enlistment soon, shortly after the premiere of his big-screen debut film 'Christmas Carol'.
Since then, Jinyoung has spent a fruitful first half of 2023, releasing his solo album 'Chapter 0: WITH', holding his 10th anniversary fan concert 'Rendezvous in Seoul: Secret meeting between you and me', and also wrapping up filming for his new Disney+ series, 'Witches'. The series will likely premiere via the global streaming platform after Jinyoung begins his enlistment.
