BLACKPINK's "BORN PINK WORLD TOUR" becomes the highest-grossing tour by a girl group in history, surpassing Spice Girls, TLC, and Destiny's Child
On April 21, Touring Data reported that BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK WORLD TOUR” became the highest-grossing tour by a female group in history, surpassing legendary girl groups Spice Girls, TLC, and Destiny's Child (All this despite the fact that this world tour is not over yet).
BLACKPINK's "BORN PINK WORLD TOUR" has accomplished an impressive milestone by selling approximately 366,000 tickets in their first 26 shows, generating a staggering 78.5 million USD in revenue. With over 30 shows remaining in the coming months, including performances at massive 50,000 to 80,000-seat venues in North America like MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Oracle Park in San Francisco, and Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, the total grosses are anticipated to soar even higher.
Thanks to their effort, talent, and perseverance over the years, BLACKPINK have been able to compete against great pop artists and musical legends, often achieving unprecedented records in the history of Kpop, and now this new record reached by the superstar quartet has once again left South Korea on top.
You can't really compare tours 20-30 years ago with nowadays, when today the inflation rate reach its highest in history. If you want to make it fair here is the tours written above after adjusting the numbers equally:
1. Spice World 1998 had 97 dates, but only 41 were reported with $173M, so the tour probably reach $300M and more.
the Return on Spice Girls 2009: $105M
Spice Tour 2019: $92M
2. you wrote TLC earned $73M from their 1999 tour but the fact the tour was never reported, its number is unknown, but even if we go with this imaginary numbers it will be $135M after inflation. Same with Destiny's Child Tour, it was not fully reported, but even with the number above the after inflation it will be $108M
so on conclusion, BP are far away to be close to these numbers, the inflation is crazy nowadays, and the old tours data isn't fully reported, some even say Spice Girls 1998 tour had almost $400M revenue.

Well considering the price of tickets now to back when the Spice Girls toured it's quite obviously going to generate more money 🤦🏻
