Former April member Hyunjoo has been cast as the female lead of new web drama 'I Like It The Way It Is' (literal translation).
On March 27 KST, Studio 1592 stated, "Actress Lee Hyunjoo has been cast as 'Jo Ah' in the drama 'I Like It The Way It Is'. They continued, "Please look forward to seeing a new side of Lee Hyunjoo, who has consistently showed a variety of characters with every role she performed."
The web drama 'I Like It The Way It Is' is described as a youth romance drama that depicts the story of a man and a woman, once young college student lovers, who parted ways due to the harsh reality. The drama will also reveal their reunion as they begin to discover love again as working adults. The drama is scheduled to premiere sometime in the second half of this year.
Many look forward to Hyunjoo's comeback as a lead actress.
