SHINee's Onew tests positive for COVID-19; cancels schedules including '2023 SMTOWN LIVE' appearance

Onew has tested positive for COVID-19.

On December 12 KST, SM Entertainment announced that the SHINee member tested positive for the virus and will therefore be halting his schedule to enter quarantine in accordance with national disease control guidelines. Canceled schedules include December 14's 'Happy Onew Day' as well as his appearance at the '2023 SMTOWN LIVE: SMCU PALACE @KWANGYA,' as the pre-recording is scheduled for December 15.

Meanwhile, the agency confirmed that members Minho and Key will still be recording their solo performances for '2023 SMTOWN LIVE: SMCU PALACE @KWANGYA' as scheduled. Those attending the pre-recording have been informed each of their recordings have been delayed by an hour due to a schedule restructuring.
