(G)I-DLE's Yuqi will be absent from some of an upcoming schedule due to an undisclosed health issue.
On November 20 KST, CUBE Entertainment announced that the idol visited the hospital earlier that morning as she was feeling unwell, and she is currently recovering after receiving medical treatment. Due to her condition, she will not be attending a scheduled video call event. However, the agency assured those who would have attended that they will reschedule and announce it at a later date.
"We sincerely apologize for causing fans' concern with this sudden news," the agency continued. "Our company will continue to do our best to ensure the artist's health and safety."
Meanwhile, Yuqi and the other (G)I-DLE members released their 5th mini album 'I Love,' featuring title track "Nxde," last month. The idol is also active as the MC of Mnet variety show 'Mad Genius.'
