On November 4, former entertainment reporter turned YouTuber Lee Jin Ho posted a video titled, "Kim Sae Ron's tear-jerking part-time cafe job...the real reason her sincerity is being doubted."
On this day, the YouTuber explained that actress Kim Sae Ron was rumored to be working part-time at a cafe and her agency recently confirmed that the claims were true. It was confirmed that Kim Sae Ron was indeed working part-time at a cafe due to financial difficulties. Nevertheless, many Korean netizens have turned a cold shoulder toward the actress and are responding coldly to the news.
Lee Jin Ho decided to review the reasons why Korean netizens are harshly cold towards the once beloved child actress. In the video, he explained, "When it comes to her sincerity, if she is taking a period to self-reflect, this means not only she should take a break from promoting but also she should be watching her drinking. She should have refrained from drinking after her DUI incident."
He continued to share that after the DUI incident, he received many tips about the actress and explained that many people reported her drinking again. He elaborated, "According to these reports, Kim Sae Ron got into a DUI accident in May but then she personally made a party invitation for her acquaintances and sent them out on July 13."
Lee Jin Ho revealed a photo and continued, "Kim Sae Ron's birthday is on July 31. And in the birthday party invitation that Kim Sae Ron personally made, it says preparations needed are 'Your body and alcohol'. This is an invitation she made a little less than a month from being summoned by prosecutors." He added, "People are questioning her sincerity during her self-reflection period seeing this content. Of course, she's allowed to have birthday parties. However, it's puzzling how a celebrity, who caused a DUI accident, has a drinking party with her acquaintances less than two months after the DUI accident."
Just as Lee Jin Ho has explained at the beginning of the video, Kim Sae Ron did admit that she was working part-time at a cafe, but she explained that she had already quit the job and is self-reflecting on her actions.

I wouldn't believe Lee Jin Ho so blindly, like he has history of being shady and sharing rumors as facts. Literally anyone with some PS idea could make some photo collage or manipulate a screenshot. I think the act itself of drunk driving is enough to give her the cold shoulder because that's a serious offense. I do hope for her own good that she is not drinking and trying to change. She is young and could come back from this in the future is she actually improved herself.
